Hydroline CEO Matt Adkins has always believed in the power of growth–both in his own career and in the company he founded. A former nurse anesthetist who wanted to build a legacy, Matt decided to take a crazy risk and co-found a business in the vast and turbulent energy industry. “I hated being inside,” Matt said. “I wanted to be out in the field, working with a team, building something that would last. I had asked people and mentors I respected, and they all told me the next big thing would be water transfer.”

In 2012, Matt heeded his mentors’ advice and co-founded Hydroline with Clay Carlisle. For over a decade, the company has grown exponentially and expanded its suite of services to impact even more of the energy industry. Matt’s passion for learning, technology, and growth leads him as he inspires his team. “We’re all here to build something bigger than ourselves,” Matt said. “That’s why we’re investing in new technology, building our team, and living out our values every day, both in the office and out in the field.”

A problem-solver with experience in finance and the energy industry, Hydroline COO Matthew O’Neal ensures that Hydroline operates as a unified, effective team. Matthew earned his bachelor’s degree from Louisiana Tech University, then spent over a decade in the energy industry before joining the Hydroline team.

“At Hydroline, people get excited about coming in to work,” Matthew said. “That’s what inspires me to be a better servant leader to this team. We’ve grown so much and served so many, and we’re just getting started.”

With the introduction and implementation of sound processes and procedures, Kelli has helped move Hydroline, LLC from a “mom and pop” structure to a growing mid-level company. With previous experience in almost every area of oil and gas accounting, she brings to Hydroline, LLC a unique perspective that influences our interaction with producers, drilling companies, and landowners.

Kelli is a magna cum laude graduate of LSUS with a BS in Accounting. She previously worked for Savanna Energy, learning the ins and outs of drilling in the busy Haynesville Shale. Her work for independent producers in the ArkLaTex has also allowed for insight into both the development and ownership of oil and gas assets west of the Mississippi.

Kelli loves working with the team that she helped to create at Hydroline, LLC. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, googling every question that comes to mind, and attending LSU football games.

Clay Carlisle began his career in the oil and gas industry in January 2007 before going on to form Hydroline, LLC in 2012, with Co-Founder and CEO, Matthew Adkins. The two of them have worked tirelessly to build a business that has remained steadfast in an extremely volatile market.

Carlisle has over a decade in the water transfer and water management business. His strong reputation with customers and extensive knowledge of the business has helped accelerate Hydroline’s staggering growth since the company was founded.

More recently, Carlisle is focused primarily on Hydroline’s business development strategy and future growth plans.

With almost two decades of experience in the energy industry, Adam Nissen oversees all of Hydroline’s strategies and plans for growth. “We’re building something bigger than ourselves,” Nissen said. “To do that, we need solid, actionable strategies.”

Nissen attended Black Hills State University and worked with Nabors Drilling for 17 years, where he worked his way up from within the rigs. He has managerial experience in East Texas, South Texas, Appalachia, the Rocky Mountains, and offshore. “Hydroline is a special place,” Nissen said. “I’ve met so many great people who are so open about their faith and about creating a legacy.”

Outside of Hydroline, Adam enjoys traveling the United States with his wife and two daughters.
